It's Your Neighbourhood - Have Your Say!

East Cambridgeshire Strategic Partnership (ECSP) would like to invite you to attend a public meeting to discuss issues of concern in your neighbourhood. The meeting is taking place on Wednesday 15th November 2006 at The Walter Gidney Pavilion, Recreation Ground, Fountain Lane, Soham from 7.00pm onwards.

This is part of a pilot series of meetings to be held in the Soham area covering: Soham, Fordham, Isleham, Wicken, Snailwell, Chippenham and Kennett. The pilot is aimed at providing a forum for the community to influence and advise on local priorities. Representatives from the Police, District, County and Parish Councils, Hereward Housing, Office of Children & Young People, and Primary Care Trust will be in attendance along with other members of the ECSP and community volunteers.
Cecilia Tredget, Deputy Chief Executive, East Cambridgeshire District Council and member of ECSP said: "This is your opportunity to tell us about the issues that matter to you and to influence the work of a range of organisations working to improve the Soham area. "
The neighbourhood meetings are running as a pilot for six months will be taking place every two months to discuss concerns around: policing, health, children and young peoples priorities, housing, transport, learning and skills, economic development, and access to services. You will able to participate in the first part of the meeting and observe throughout the remainder of the meeting. The ECSP aim to work in partnership with local people and welcome all comments; we would like to hear from you about what affects you most in your neighbourhood.

The agenda for the forthcoming meeting includes: Election of Chair, Terms of Reference, Co-option of other members and dates of meetings along with specific Policing and Children and Young People items.
