East Cambridgeshire District Council HQ move Consultation

An East Cambridgeshire District Council Office Accommodation Roadshow, detailing proposals from all four shortlisted sites has been arranged and will take place in the Council Chamber at The Grange, Nutholt Lane, Ely, on Tuesday 12th October 2004 at 7.00pm, where there will also be an opportunity to meet the respective developers and architects. A second meeting will be held at Soham Village College on Thursday 14th October 2004 in Beechurst Hall at 7.00pm. Consultation on office accommodation is almost complete with the initial results of the staff, public telephone survey, users of The Grange Questionnaire and the Focus Group of partners, due in the next few weeks. Nevertheless, the On-Line and written questionnaire can still be completed up to 20th October 2004. 106 online and completed written questionnaires have been received to date. The District Council have also received 85 completed questionnaires from Parish/Town Councillors. A final decision on the HQ move will be made by East Cambridgeshire District Council by the 12th December 2004.
